The Reading Aero Club is one of the oldest continuously operating flying club in America.
We have been in existence since 1932 and are still going strong. We must be doing something right!
Located on the west ramp of the
Reading Regional Airport,
Reading PA.,
the Club has over 50 pilot members and two outstanding aircraft. Our clubhouse is located right on the ramp
where we’ve been located since 1965.
Recently renovated, the clubhouse provides a place for meetings as well as social gatherings.
Belonging to RAC is more than just having a place to rent an airplane, it is a great place to socialize,
develop friends and learn more about our favorite pastime…flying.
RAC members enjoy low cost recreational flying in first class aircraft.
Our hourly rate is only $90 per hour with no sales tax required. Our planes
are a Piper Archer and a
Cessna 172SP.
Both are IFR equipped, hanger kept and in top notch condition!
As an added advantage, we offer flight instruction from three
member flight instructors.
Learning to fly or getting an advanced rating couldn’t be easier or more cost effective.
