The Reading Aero Club (RAC) is one of the oldest continuously-operating flying clubs in America. We have been in existence since 1932, and are still going strong! The West Ramp of the Reading Regional Airport (KRDG) has been our home since 1965, where we base our two outstanding aircraft, and more than 50 pilot members. Our clubhouse provides a place for meetings as well as social gatherings - belonging to RAC is more than just having a place to rent an airplane. It is a great place to socialize, develop friendships, and learn more about our favorite pastime… flying! RAC members enjoy low-cost recreational flying in first-class aircraft. We own two planes - a Piper Archer III, and a Cessna 172SP. Both are IFR-equipped, hangar-kept, and in top-notch condition! As an added advantage, we offer flight instruction from four Club member Certified Flight Instructors. Learning to fly, or getting an advanced rating couldn’t be easier or more cost-effective. Call, e-mail, or write us via the web contact form for more information. We’ll look forward to hearing from you!
